Taste the Faith by Chris Le
God blesses us with many things on this wondrous earth – fruits, vegetables, minerals and a wide variety of beautiful animals that taste absolutely delicious when soaked overnight in marinade and slow grilled over a mesquite fire. Blessed are my fingers from whichith I lickith thy glorious mixith of flavor! And everything on this Earth has a divine purpose. The trees to give you air. The clouds to deliver water. Your cat to aerodynamically restyle the couch in the living room. Less is more says the cat. Out the house says you.
But what’s more, the food that we are blessed with also serves a purpose. Why eat an apple? Because it’s delicious? That’s a child’s answer. An adult would say because the apple is full of nutrition. A teenager might say, “deliciousness and nutritiousness!” and then slam a door somewhere and go listen to terrible music. Sure the apple tastes great, but its purpose is to keep you, the lamb of God, healthy. For our shepherd is a good one, and out of his love did he make apples nutritious and delicious.
The first apple provided us forbidden knowledge, and barred us forever from the Garden of Eden. Boo. However, apples today provide us with better constitutions by supplying fiber, vitamin C and pectin. Yay! As you may know from our inherited forbidden knowledge, the purpose of grapes is to support the immune and digestive functions in the human body by providing vitamin A, B1, B2, C, iron, potassium and minerals.
The greatest good of the grape is to inhibit cancer, heart disease, degenerative nerve disease, viral infections and Alzheimer’s, and not as commonly believed by myself, to be fed one by one by beautiful exotic women to me – while younger more beautiful women fan me with abnormally large leaves and other mature beautiful women play woodwind and string instruments.
Similarly the fig can function as an immodest man’s bathing suit, or serve it’s true purpose away from that terrible jungle – helping in digestion. A plum will keep your blood vessels and eyes in good health.
Interesting fact – the only fruit to also be an adverb? The Plum. “I’m plum tuckered out, I better drink some Fruit of the Spirit”. Try that with a pomegranate. “I’m pomegranate tuckered out, I better drink a whole lot of Fruit of the Spirit.” Doesn’t work. So pomegranate isn’t good for expressing yourself more colorfully, but it’s great for lowering cholesterol and cardiovascular health.
Now you might be asking yourself one of two questions. The answer to your first question is simply “yes.” Your second question might be, “what is Fruit of the Spirit?” To which I will helpfully reply, “yes.”
Yes to health, happiness and living younger and longer the way God intended. That is the purpose of Fruit of the Spirit. An affirmation to healthy living and taking care of the bodies that we have been blessed with. Fruit of the Spirit is an anti-oxidant dense supertonic made from
16 whole fruits, herbs and dead sea minerals selected for their healing properties and ability to prevent disease. One ounce of this puree provides you with five servings of fruits and vegetables. A shot of this stuff is literally like drinking a fruit hat, and will have you dancing like the lady underneath.
But don’t just rely on my expert testimony, get a second opinion…from a doctor! “Anti-oxidant protection works wonders for the body,” says John D. Young, M.D., physician in the Foundational Health Center in Largo, Florida, and medical advisor for Fruit of the Spirit.
“Anti-oxidants have been shown to limit oxidative damage to our bodies.
Ultimately, this will help slow down aging and disease processes, improve learning ability, reduce memory loss and protect the cardiovascular system against oxidative stress.”
So besides being a great tasting superhighway for truckloads of vitamins and minerals to take the on ramp into your body, the ultimate purpose of Fruit of the Spirit is to lead others to better health through education and inspiration. Fruit of the Spirit’s VP of marketing, Deanna Naylor says, “Each time someone hears the name Fruit of the Spirit, we want them to think of the biblical Fruits of the Spirit…love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness and self control. We want them to know that Fruit of the Spirit is here to help them achieve their health goals in tandem with their spiritual goals. Also, we partner with ministries and health organizations to create income that supports the good work that they do.”
The company is kicking off a Gifting Angel campaign that promotes giving the gift of good health to a loved one. Usually, when I give a gift, it is almost always unhealthy. Lavish cream cakes, inappropriate birthday cards and crossbows are but a few examples. However, on giving good health, Craig Keeland, President of Fruit of the Spirit states “When you give this wonderful gift of health, you encourage someone you love to take a first step towards happier, healthier, more energetic days. The gift of health is a meaningful gift for holidays, birthdays, or just because.” I would also add that once consumed for their miraculous benefits, the bottles make excellent targets for crossbows.
